The Invisible Solution to Straighten Your Teeth
Invisalign is an incredible solution to address one of the most important dental conditions, malocclusion. Malocclusion, or an improper bite, can lead to a myriad of health issues including crooked teeth, recession, tooth sensitivity, muscle pain, joint pain and headaches. Enter Invisalign to the rescue. Invisalign uses a set of custom-made clear aligners that you wear for most of the day. Over several months, these aligners gradually align your teeth and improve your bite. This nearly invisible solution is also more comfortable than traditional braces and has fewer restrictions. Additionally, Invisalign is now available for children, teenagers and adults.

Invisalign can treat several conditions
All orthodontic treatments have two goals in mind; align the teeth and correct the bite. Although patients come in requesting straighter looking teeth, correcting the bite is just as important and is what makes the treatment stable over time requiring less of a need for future treatment.
Invisalign clear aligners can treat:
Spaces between teeth
Bite issues: overbite, open bite, underbite, and crossbite
An improper bite, when your jaws do not line up as they should, can result in a multitude of dental problems, such bruxism (excessive teeth wear and tear), TMJ symptoms (jaw pain), gum recession, bone loss, and tooth pain.
Braces vs Invisalign
Invisalign offers many advantages over traditional braces. For the patient, the treatment is much more convenient and comfortable. Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign treatment does not have any dietary restrictions. Brushing and flossing is also much more effective than with braces that trap food and make teeth harder to clean. Invisalign is also convenient for people's busy schedules because they don't require frequent visits to the office and can be used while traveling without the risk of braces than can pop off or wires than can poke you causing discomfort.
During your initial consultation, we perform a thorough examination and review of your dental history to determine whether Invisalign clear aligners are an appropriate solution for your orthodontic needs. If we decide to go ahead with the treatment, our team takes x-rays and digital impressions of your teeth. This helps us create a digital 3D image of your teeth so we can design a personalized Invisalign treatment plan. Afterward, we send the digital impressions and treatment plan information to the lab that builds your custom clear aligners.
Once we receive your aligner trays, we bring you back to our office to make sure they fit as they should. From then on, you need to wear your Invisalign aligners for at least 22 hours every day, including while sleeping. Consistent is vital to achieving your desired results.
You need to replace your custom trays every one to two weeks. However, we only schedule Invisalign checkups every six to eight months to ensure that your progress is on track. You may complete your treatment in as little as six months although many people require a year.
